Mercy Kimuhu serves the patients at Unlimited Care Cottages as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Her responsibilities include managing her patients’ conditions, administering prescribed medications, and helping caregivers learn how to best care for them.
Originally from Kenya, Mercy now lives in Spring, TX and has been with Unlimited Care Cottages since 2011. She brought with her previous experience working as a caregiver and a Certified Nursing Aid for The Woodlands Healthcare and several home health care companies. She is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse.
Mercy enjoys being able to care for people and meeting all their needs. She has the heart to provide care that is attentive and complete. It a joy for her knowing her patients are happy with the care they receive.
Mercy chooses to provide personal care services at Unlimited Care Cottages because of the small setting. It is satisfying for her to know that she can reach every person in the assisted living community, something that would not be possible in a larger setting.
“Unlimited Care is just like a small community. People here work together and help each other as a team. There’s nothing that can beat that.”
When Mercy is not working, she enjoys traveling back to Kenya to visit her family.
