When Melissa Melton’s mother passed away in 2009, the soon-to-be mother wanted to do something special to honor her mother’s life and all of her contributions to the community.
“I was looking for something I could do that would make her proud of me,” Melton said. “I needed a way to fill the void her passing caused in my life as well as the grandson she never got to meet.”
